Get your business off spreadsheets.

Custom tools built around how your business actually runs. From small integrations through to substantial line-of-business systems, including NextERP, the white-goods ERP I've previously built from the ground up.

Integration starter

Connect two systems so they talk properly. Website form → email list, POS → Xero, booking calendar → Google Calendar that sort of thing. Quick wins, repeatable.

£495

Custom tool or dashboard

A focused internal app: stock tracker, job sheets, booking system for a single purpose, a dashboard pulling figures together. Built in Python and modern web tech.

from £1,495

Full custom system

Substantial line-of-business builds. Recent work in this space includes a pricing engine with competitor scraping and an in-store sales system & POS for a growing white-goods retailer, plus NextERP, a standalone ERP I've built independently sales, stock, routes, driver app and reporting. First hour's on me to scope it out properly; from there you get a fixed quote.

from £4,500

A proper business email and the apps that come with it.

Microsoft 365 isn't just emailit's the whole set of programs you've been using for years: Word for documents, Excel for spreadsheets, Outlook for email, Teams for video calls. Set up properly on your own domain, the first time.

New email on your domain

Stop using yourshop@gmail.com and start using something like hello@yourshop.co.uk. Includes the full Microsoft 365 app setWord, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDriveinstalled and signed in on your computer.

Microsoft's monthly fee for the software (per person), passed through at cost. Plus £3 a person each month for keeping it runningpasswords reset, new starters set up, the bits that go wrong.

Microsoft + £3/user

A till that earns its keep.

The till at the front of your shop or café shouldn't be a stress. Helping you pick one that fitstaking cards, tracking stock, sending receiptsthen getting it set up and connected to your books.

POS setup & install

Sourcing the right till for your shop, setting it up, showing the staff how to use it. Card reader, receipt printer, cash drawer all sorted on one visit.

from £295

Connect till to accounts

Stop typing your day's takings into Xero or QuickBooks by hand. Wire the till up so sales flow through automatically.

from £195

The everyday tech stuff.

The printer that won't print. The laptop that's gone slow. The Wi-Fi that drops in the back room. Most day-to-day IT problems for a small business give us a shout, we'll have a look.

One-off IT help

A single problem, sorted. Remote where it can be done, in person if it can't. Common jobs Wi-Fi, printers, new laptop setup, password resets, basic networking.

£60/hour

On-call IT

For businesses that'd rather have someone on retainer than ring around when something goes down. A monthly fee that gets you priority response and a few hours of help included.

from £85/month

Sensible answers.

Do all these prices include VAT?

No VAT to add. Skiddaw Digital isn't VAT-registered, so the prices you see are the prices you pay

How long does a website typically take?

Starter sites are usually two to three weeks from start to live. Standard four to six weeks. Premium and bespoke builds depend on scope we'll agree a timeline up front and stick to it.

Do I have to take a care plan?

Not at all, but once your first year of free hosting is up, your site needs a home. A care plan keeps the hosting, backups and updates running. The alternative is finding a builder who'll charge you £200 the first time something breaks at the worst possible moment.

I just need a question answered, not a project, can I still get in touch?

Yes, please do. First hour of any conversation is free, whether it ends in a project or not. If I can answer something off the bat, I will.

What if my project doesn't fit any of these?

Drop me a line. Custom software in particular is rarely identical from one job to the next these prices are starting points and we'd sort a proper quote after a conversation.

Can you work with businesses outside West Cumbria?

West Cumbria and the Lake District come first that's the whole point of Skiddaw Digital. I'll travel to anywhere in the Lakes for an in-person meet, and beyond that I'm happy to work remotely if it's the right fit.

Ready when you are

Find the price you like. Then say hello.

A first conversation is always free and never a sales pitch. Tell me what you're trying to do, and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
